AIC Mascot Bear
AIC Mascot Bear
The Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) is an organisation that promotes healthy living and graceful aging. They provide eldercare services as well as training to other health care professionals. In a bid to expand their brand, they wanted a new mascot that could represent the organisation and its values.
In particular, cuddly bears were the type of mascot that AIC favoured. To people of all ages, cuddly bears symbolise love and friendship. These bears will be highly intelligent and benevolent, inspiring us to look after one another. At the same time, they are extremely friendly, and they have the ability to cheer anyone up.
After much discussion, H.U.G. Bear was born, the mascot for AIC. H.U.G. means Heart: we serve with Heart, Unspoken needs: we anticipate the Unspoken needs, Go beyond: we Go beyond the call of duty. It has a heart shape in its stomach, embodying compassion and kindness. The heart included three different coloured rings, which corresponds to the coloured ripples found in the AIC’s logo.
The mascot’s cheerful smile reminds everyone to stay and think positive. In fact, it continues to make the most out of each beautiful day, and constantly finds new ways to support others in an optimistic manner. As a result, it motivates us not to lose hope easily and to help one another out.
The open arms signify how friendly and polite the mascot is. It embraces everyone and strives to always help others in need, no matter how they look like or who they are. In many ways, It encourages us to be welcoming and to learn how to work well with different types of people, regardless of race, language or religion.
Dexel is incredibly grateful to AIC for giving us this valuable opportunity to help create this mascot for them. We hope this mascot will be able to inspire many others and help enable AIC’s vision of a vibrant care community.
