What is Agency Engagement?
Art Direction and Creative Concept
Our art direction and creative concept comes in many forms and sizes, thin, fat, tall and short. Huge and under utilised or tiny and over worked brains, these are what the creative team at the agency believes in.
Regardless of the experience or knowledge gained, everyone deserves a chance to be creative, to be a part of the creative team.
Brainstorming sessions will usually begin immediately after the briefing to the creative team involved in the project. The creative team will discuss about the various methods on how your brand, product and campaign can be created and can gain the best possible exposure.
The entire conceptualisation process will include research, crafting, development, refining the design and even back to the drawing board if it fails our Design Director’s strict approval and does not reflect your product or company’s best interest.
We will be keyboard warriors and time travellers during the research development week. Subsequently, our Design Director will be hard at work crafting and piecing the puzzle together with our graphic designers, creating the look and feel of the design.
During this process, the Copywriter will be tasked to start churning out words, headlines, diction, thought process and mind maps for the Design Director. This process will involve lots of creative hours for an estimated duration of about 2 to 4 weeks to develop the entire concept.
After the research week is over, crafting out the designs on paper will begin and it too will require lots of designer hours to perfect it. It is a step-by-step process not to be forgotten, and sketching will help the graphic designers and design directors visualise the designs before the actual work is being digitally created. Sketching will also help the mind open up to the various ways and possibilities a design can be achieved.
Once the sketches have been crafted, we will start to develop the design and expand its possibilities to include all the graphics into the various collaterals, stationery, banners, websites, packagings and all campaign related items. Finding creative ways to develop it differently, to create a wow factor, attracts customers and entices them to spend.
The entire development and design process will be fully customised and crafted just for you, including copywriting. We will need to constantly remind your customers that you will be there for them, nothing else matters.
The most important characteristic of a graphic designer is to love what you do best, being a passionate and dedicated craftsman. Graphic designers can sometimes be the most stubborn human beings on the planet, but they can also be the craziest and friendliest people you know.
Being a perfectionist in a design agency can be a recipe for disaster, however it can also be the driving factor in creating the perfect artwork. Listening to what the client wants and refining the artwork is crucial in order to achieve the objective and build a good client-agency relationship.
